Go to Accident and Emergency at the nearest hospital for a physical and emotional assessment as soon as possible. Different medical tests will be conducted, for example general, gynaecological and psychological examinations, as well as others to rule out the possibility of pregnancy and to detect sexually transmitted diseases.
Retain evidence of the assault, as it will be relevant in subsequent court proceedings.
Sexual assault is a crime. If you want to report the assault, it is advisable to seek advice beforehand and try to be accompanied by a lawyer with experience in these matters.
