Teaching and Training - Clinical Institute of Medicine and Dermatology
Teaching activity is a strategic objective of the Clinical Institute of Medicine and Dermatology (ICMID), both in the training of health specialties and in the university field.
MIR Residents
Specialists in Internal Medicine, Preventive Medicine and Dermatology are trained with 39 resident doctors. Training stays for outpatients and hospital residents in other international centers are encouraged.
Degrees
ICMiD participates in the training of the Degrees in Medicine, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences and Biomedical Engineering of the Faculty of Medicine, and Health Sciences of the University of Barcelona.

The continuous training of health and non-health professionals is promoted, in order to enhance their skills and encourage their development. Clinical simulation has also bee introduced in the training and evaluation of caregiving teams.
There is a wide range of postgraduate and continuing education courses on offer, as well as doctoral students directed by ICMID researchers. There is a wide participation of ICMID members in the representation of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and in the University Departments.
