Teaching and Training - Medical and Surgical Specialties of the Clínic Institute

The teaching carried out at the Clínic Institute of Medical and Surgical Specialties covers the specialties of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, Otolaryngology, Rheumatology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, Rehabilitation and Nursing.

Some professionals from the Institute participate as teachers in the degrees of Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering and Nursing at the University of Barcelona.

In postgraduate training students can participate in master's degrees under the auspices of the University of Barcelona and in Advanced Courses (fellowships). Resident Internal Medicine (MIR) training is also carried out at the Institute. There are currently 30 residents undergoing training in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (TOC), Otolaryngology (ENT), Rheumatology, Rehabilitation and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

The Institute offers places for informative stays for the education of independent professionals who want training in healthcare services. In addition, there are specialization courses lasting days and advanced courses in various techniques.
