"Series of dissemination talks In search of health"
We still do not have markers that facilitate the diagnosis or treatments for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (CFS/ME), which are often not very effective. This makes it a chronic and persistent disease that affects the quality of life of those who suffer from it. We will review current events related to its epidemiology, pathogenesis, treatment, and lines of research.
By Joaquim Fernández-Solà, accredited researcher of the IDIBAPS group Muscle research and mitochondrial function and Professor of Medicine at the UB, head of the Central Sensitization Unit of the Hospital Clínic.
Talk in Catalan. Free entrance. Limited capacity, with prior reservation.
