The encounter began with a presentation of IDIBAPS by Michela Bertero, Director of Strategy and Research at IDIBAPS, who explained the institution's main areas of activity and research lines, as well as the integration model between patient care and research. Afterwards, the delegation visited the IDIBAPS Biobank.
The visit also provided a broader view of the Campus Clínic ecosystem. Pilar Varela, Director of Institutional Relations at Hospital Clínic Barcelona, presented the Hospital; Cristina Navas, Director of the Research Area for the Nou Campus de Salut Clínic and IDIBAPS Heritage project, presented the 'Nou Clínic' project; and Josep Maria Nicolás, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Barcelona, explained the activities of the Faculty.
