This humanitarian action, consisting of 21 vehicles in total —10 ambulances and 11 support vehicles—, carries essential medical supplies and equipment to cope with the winter’s low temperatures, which can reach -12 °C.
Thanks to the collaboration of Campus Clínic Solidari, the following were contributed:
- Two surgical microscopes
- Three portable respirators
- Wound care materials, airway equipment, and other medical supplies for field hospitals and ambulance medicalization
Additionally, through CCS’s mediation, the NGO Farmamundi made a donation of medicines valued at €20,000, significantly enhancing the caravan’s medical resources.
The collaboration of the Barcelona City Council is also worth noting, providing power generators to help mitigate the extreme conditions faced by people affected by the war.
This humanitarian project reaffirms Campus Clínic Solidari’s commitment to the health and wellbeing of people in vulnerable situations, contributing equipment and coordination to respond to the most urgent needs.
