Campus Clínic Solidari reaffirms its commitment to international cooperation and scientific development with the launch of the new online Scientific Management course, which began this week and will run through March and April 2026.
Top-level leadership and expertise
The course opening featured prominent figures from the fields of research and management. Key contributors included Dr. Quique Bassat, Director General of ISGlobal, and Dr. Susana Puig, Director of IDIBAPS. Alongside Dr. Mohsin Sidat, Vice-Rector of Eduardo Mondlane University, they shared their strategic vision on scientific governance and leadership in research institutions.
Objectives and contents
The course is designed to provide practical tools and skills for managing scientific projects and programs. Over six weeks, experts from various institutions will cover fundamental topics such as:
- Governance and leadership in research institutions.
- Strategic planning, innovation, and knowledge transfer.
- Program and project management (pre- and post-award).
- Financial management and management control.
- Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI).
Live sessions and real-world impact
The program is structured around weekly live sessions via Zoom, using a multilingual approach (Spanish, Portuguese, and English) to facilitate knowledge exchange. Through this initiative, Campus Clínic Solidari aims to create collaborative networks that increase the impact of biomedical and global health research in Mozambique.
