At the end of October, representatives of the NGO Casal d’Amistat amb Cuba of Badalona visited IDIBAPS to collect materials that are no longer in use at the institute but could still be useful.
Among other items, they received gauze, gloves, gowns, laboratory pipettes, some freezer racks, and plastic containers. The connection with the NGO was made through the mediation of Campus Clínic Solidari, a joint project involving several institutions from the Clínic Campus that promotes cooperation and solidarity.
Earlier in the summer, a donation of unused materials was also made to the Índigo Association, which carries out cooperation projects in Kenya. Among other items, they were provided with needle containers, tubes, and racks.
