The conference included, among other activities, workshops and presentations on best practices and, for the first time, the REGIC Awards were presented. According to the organizers, "the awards were created with the aim of recognizing excellence and helping to highlight the strategic value that management professionals bring to research and innovation in healthcare." Two of the awards went to IDIBAPS:
Núria Castro, Head of the Public Procurement Office, and Luis Mochón, Head of Purchasing, received the award for the positions that attracted the highest demand in the Mobility Programme. Launched in 2025, this programme allows management staff from one REGIC center to undertake a placement at another center, with the aim of sharing experiences and knowledge.
Meanwhile, Sílvia Ruiz, Head of Financial Management for the Platforms, and Meritxell Rufet, former Head and currently Quality Specialist, were recognized for delivering the REGIC training session with the highest attendance.
