Prof. Gilles Mirambeau, researcher at UPMC-Sorbonne University and at the IDIBAPS’ AIDS and Infectious Diseases team, is a new elected member of the Gorverning Board of the prestigious association Euroscience. This is a European non-profit grassroots association open to research professionals, teachers, students, science administrators, policy-makers and citizens interested in science and technology and its links with society. Its most popular initiatives are the ESOF meetings and Euroscientist magazine.
On the other hand, Prof. Mirambeau is also acting as "guest editor" of two volumes of a special issue of the journal Virus Research. The first issue appeared in October, with a cover designed by Sébastien Lyonnais, collaborator of Prof. Mirambeau.
