In this edition, the Clínic was honoured in two outstanding categories:
- Overall Hospital Management, which recognizes regional and national referral hospitals with the best overall management indicators. The award was presented to the Agrupació Hospital Clínic Barcelona – Sant Joan de Déu, as a model of collaboration and integrated healthcare.
- Heart Area, for its excellence in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and the quality of clinical results in cardiac surgery.
These results consolidate the Hospital Clínic Barcelona as one of the leading centres in the Spanish and European healthcare system, and highlight the joint work carried out by the professional teams, the commitment to innovation and the continuous improvement of the quality of care.
The TOP 20 Awards, promoted by IQVIA, are awarded on the basis of objective indicators obtained from public data and the centre’s own data, eliminating the need for any nominations.
