Claudio Sampieri

He obtained his specialization in Otorhinolaryngology in Genoa, Italy, and subsequently completed a one-year fellowship in Head and Neck and Robotic Surgery at Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul. He completed a PhD focused on enhancing visualization techniques in endoscopy and surgery, leveraging artificial intelligence. He is currently a consultant otolaryngologist at the Head and Neck Tumors Unit of Hospital Clínic Barcelona, Spain. His surgical interests focus on head and neck surgery, particularly transoral robotic and laser surgery. His research interests include neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined with transoral surgery, HPV-associated oropharyngeal cancer, bioendoscopy, and artificial intelligence.
