About me
Physician-scientist with specialist training in Infectious Diseases from Cayetano Heredia University. I’m passionate about research and epidemiology. I have experience with vaccine development and a particular interest on infections among immunosuppressed patients, patients with cancer and organ-transplant recipients.
I did my PhD in Copenhagen University Hospital -Rigshospitalet where I studied the effect of radiotherapy on the immune system and the risk of infection of patients with solid tumors using real-world data. As a Postdoctoral researcher, I became team leader of Oncology research and I expanded to investigate the effect of radiation-induced lymphopenia on immunotherapy response, metabolic (diabetes) and cardiovascular complications after radiotherapy, the use of artificial intel
