About me
Dr. Nadia Di Franco is a pharmacist and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Barcelona,at the Faculty of Medicne, in Spain, working in Prof. Silvia Gines Padros’ lab. Her research focuses on the role of cannabinoid receptors in cognitive impairments and psychiatric symptoms associated with Huntington’s disease.
She holds a PhD on cannabinoid receptor modulation in Down syndrome from Neurocentre Magendie, Bordeaux, in France. During her PhD, she developed the preclinical drug for a cannabinoid compound currently in Phase III for cognitive decline in Down syndrome patients.
