Dr. Xabier Urra is Head of the Neurology Department at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, an accredited researcher in the Cerebrovascular Diseases group at IDIBAPS and an Associate Medical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Barcelona. He is particularly noted for his involvement in high-impact clinical stroke research, serving as local principal investigator or executive committee member in trials such as REVASCAT, RACECAT, and the CHOICE and CHOICE-2 trials.
