Workshop on Value-Based Healthcare and Patient Engagement. Taller en inglés
Sala Margarita Salas - Sala Santiago Ramón y Cajal, Centro Esther Koplowitz (CEK) C/ Rosselló, 153.
This interactive workshop explores the essential synergy between value-based healthcare and the active participation of patients. In a healthcare system that seeks to optimize the outcomes that truly matter to people, the co-creation of care and shared decision-making are fundamental pillars. Through participatory activities, practical case studies, and open dialogue, participants will discover how direct patient involvement is a key component in defining, measuring, and achieving “value” in healthcare.
The aim is to demystify the concept of “value-based healthcare” and to highlight that, without real and effective patient participation, it is impossible to speak of a healthcare system that genuinely responds to patients’ needs and expectations.
