The session coincides with the celebration of International LGBTQIA+ Pride Day and will expose the current situation of the LGBTQIA+ collective, introducing basic concepts of affective-sexual and gender diversity In addition, it will be discussed what actions or attitudes we can take at the individual and institutional level to promote and improve the inclusion of diversity in environments such as a research center. This PRISMA activity aims to fight against discriminatory actions and also promote diversity in science, technology, and innovation environments.
This activity is offered in a hybrid format and is open to people from inside and outside the institution.
After the session and whenever previously requested, members of the IDIBAPS research community are offered to participate in a discussion group led by the speaker to continue the debate that may have arisen throughout of the session.
The activity is an action promoted by the institution's Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) in order to promote inclusion and fight against discrimination.
