Medical Oncologist. Head of the Thoracic Tumours Unit

Dr Noemí Reguart, MD, PhD, is a thoracic oncologist in the Department of Medical Oncology at Hospital Clínic Barcelona and an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Barcelona. Her professional career has been closely linked to the Clínic: she graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1995, completed her residency at the institution (1995–2001), and returned in 2008. Over the past 15 years, she has developed her entire professional career at the hospital. Since 2020, she has headed the Thoracic Tumours Unit.

Her clinical activity, focused on the care and management of people with lung cancer, is complemented by extensive work in translational research aimed at identifying new biomarkers and incorporating innovative technologies into clinical practice. She has participated in numerous international clinical trials, both in trial design and in patient enrolment.

Her career combines clinical care, research and teaching, with a strong commitment to offering the best possible treatment opportunities to patients with lung cancer. Her active involvement in international scientific societies also contributes to positioning Hospital Clínic as a leading centre in thoracic oncology.
