Throughout the morning and into early afternoon, professionals from all campus institutions will offer over 100 health, research and teaching activities, including workshops, guided tours, talks and interactive spaces.
A Health, Science and Teaching Campus opens to the public
Clínic Obert is a joint initiative reinforcing Campus Clínic's identity as an integrated ecosystem of care, research and teaching. The day transparently showcases how its institutions work, the research underway, and projects improving people's health and community wellbeing.
Campus Clínic seeks close ties with its surroundings, bridges with the neighbourhood, and knowledge-sharing with the city. All activities have been proposed and designed by the professionals working there, who will also take on outreach and educational roles that day.
Over 100 health, research and prevention activities
This edition features over 100 activities led by professionals from all Campus Clínic institutions, tailored for all audiences: families, children, young people and adults.
Proposals include:
- Health and prevention workshops and talks on mental health, perinatal health, memory, allergies, cancer, diabetes, medications, sustainability, healthy ageing, etc.
- Technology and science demonstrations, such as 3D bioprinting, CAR-T therapy, liquid biopsies, neuropsychology, and imaging diagnostics innovations.
- Practical workshops on resuscitation, healthy tech use, oral health, skin and joint care, and more.
- Guided tours of operating theatres, research labs, biobanks, specialised units, Dissection Room, and historic Faculty of Medicine spaces, etc.
The goal is a participatory, engaging experience letting people see how campus institutions work up close and understand scientific advances translating into better care.
