The institution wishes to express its gratitude for his career and commitment to the public healthcare system during the years he has led the hospital’s highest governing body.
During his tenure, Crous has been a key figure in shaping the institution’s strategy and promoting transformative projects, such as the future Clínic-UB Campus. His experience in the business world, his vision, and his character have been decisive in bringing this project to fruition.
Dr. Josep M. The new Chairman of the Board of Governors is Mr. Tobías Martínez, appointed by the Department of Health. A telecommunications engineer and IESE graduate, among other qualifications, he led Cellnex Telecom from 2015 to 2023, turning it into the leading European operator of mobile infrastructures. During his tenure, the company expanded its international presence and surpassed 130,000 active sites. He left the position to open a new phase focused on organic growth.
