Hospital Clínic achieves excellent results in the allocation of places for new residents

This year, Hospital Clínic offered 125 positions across 48 specialties, incorporating residents in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for the first time.

Of the 10 non-MIR specialties offered by Clínic Barcelona, in six of them the first position in Catalonia was at the hospital.

Regarding the 38 MIR specialties, in 16 of them the first position in Catalonia was at Clínic, and in three the first position in Spain: Pathological Anatomy, Clinical Pharmacology, and Urology.

Taking the 50th percentile as a reference, Hospital Clínic ranks as the top hospital in Spain.

This year, residents join the hospital on June 5th, with the traditional Welcome Ceremony at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. After an initial common training period, from June 16th they will join their respective departments and rotations.
