The AES24 call includes a section to recruit bioinformatics technicians to support the research of health research institutes. IDIBAPS is looking for candidates for this call to incorporate them into the institution. The call covers this person's contract for two years. The person who joins will continue at IDIBAPS, thanks to the creation of a new research computing platform that will support the institution's researchers and scientific platforms.
Bioinformatics technicians with experience in biomedical research, working in any area of computational biology and biomedicine (analysis and integration of omic and multi-omic data, analysis of biomedical images, among others) are encouraged to apply. The selected candidate will be incorporated into the institution under the umbrella of the scientific platforms.
Interested candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, or any equivalent higher degree, and have completed specialized master's studies in bioinformatics.
