As announced at the beginning of the year, IDIBAPS has created a roving researcher position to support research staff on long-term leaves at critical stages of their academic careers. This action covers measure 15 of the IDIBAPS Gender Equality Plan and aims to counteract the effects that motherhood and/or caring for young children have on women’s research careers, especially those in tenure-track positions.
Fleur Chapus did her doctorate at Centre de Recherche en Cancérologie de Lyon (France) then she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the National Institutes of Health (USA), focusing on transcriptional regulation and viral hepatopathology. Fleur masters a wide range of laboratory techniques and the adaptability to learn new ones. She has contributed relevant publications in her research fields and holds experience in international collaborative environments, as well as in teaching and mentoring junior colleagues and students, peer reviewing, and communicating her research at international venues.
Applications are open to any researchers who are interested in receiving her support. To apply, please check the regulation in the attached document (Roving Researcher regulation) and submit the application form to the Scientific Coordination Office (coordinacio.cientifica@recerca.clinic.cat).
