About me

I studied physics in the Univ. Autónoma de Madrid and did my PhD in Computational Neuroscience in the group of Néstor Parga. I was trained as a postdoc in the lab of Alex Reyes in the Center for Neural Science (NYU) and with Kenneth Harris in the Center for Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience (Rutgers, Newark). In 2010 I came to IDIBAPS as a Ramón y Cajal researcher and since 2015, I have been a Group Leader at IDIBAPS. Together with Albert Compte (CSIC/IDIBAPS), Carles Sindreu (CIBERER) and Hernando M Vergara (IDIBAPS), I co-lead the Brain Circuits and Behavior Lab (braincircuitsbehavior.org).
