The Allergy Department at the Hospital Clínic Barcelona is part of the structure of the Clínic Respiratory Institute, where care, research, and teaching are carried out on the different allergic conditions specific to the specialty (food allergies, bee or wasp venom allergies, anaphylaxis, immediate hypersensitivity reactions to drugs) as well as those allergic conditions where other specialties may also be involved in their diagnosis and treatment (rhinoconjunctivitis, allergic asthma, atopic dermatitis, urticaria, angioedema, delayed hypersensitivity reactions to drugs), in accordance with the CatSalut portfolio of services for the treatment of allergic conditions.
