Maria Rosa Faner

· Prof. Rosa Faner, PhD, is a Serra Húnter Professor, ICREA acadèmia (2024) at the University of Barcelona (UB), Biomedicine Department, and accredited researcher of the ISS FRCB-IDIBAPS and CIBER. · She graduated in Biology at the University Autonoma de Barcelona in 2001, and received her PhD in 2006, for her studies of the HLA system. · In 2009 she reoriented her career towards chronic respiratory diseases as COPD.
