Labour Induction at the Clínic

The Maternal-Foetal Medicine Service at the Hospital Clínic performs over 1,000 labour inductions per year.
The Clinic was a pioneer in combining mechanical (using a balloon) and pharmacological methods for labour induction, with the aim of making this procedure more respectful of the physiology of labour and more efficient.
