A study explains how chemotherapy works in young women with low-risk hormone-sensitive breast cancer

Researchers from Hospital Clínic-IDIBAPS have shown for the first time that the benefit of chemotherapy in premenopausal patients with low-risk hormone-dependent breast cancer can be explained by the fact that it suppresses ovary function and reduces estrogen production.
