Once again, and now for the ninth year, IDIBAPS has organized its science summer camp for children. This year, the camp took place over three weeks, from July 13th to July 31st, with the participation of more than 60 children.
The aim of the camp is to provide a service for families with young children and help support work-life balance. It also seeks to spark children's interest in science through hands-on experimentation and direct observation of their surroundings, while encouraging critical thinking and creativity.
In this year's edition, the children explored "The Superpowers Laboratory" through scientific challenges, experiments, and teamwork, uncovering the real-life phenomena behind apparent superpowers such as weather control, teleportation, and self-healing. They also visited the institution's biobank.
