Barcelona Esquerra Primary Healthcare Consortium
A public body made up of the Catalan Health Institute (ICS) and the Hospital Clínic Barcelona. It manages three Primary Healthcare Teams in the Eixample district providing health services to the population in the following Basic Health Areas: Barcelona 2C (Comte Borrell), Barcelona 2E (Esquerra Eixample-Casanova) and Barcelona 4C (Les Corts-Helios).
Barcelona Esquerra Integrated Health Area (AISBE)
It’s mission is to effectively coordinate the health services and their professionals in order to offer comprehensive, quality care to the over 500,000 people living in this area.
Hospital Sant Joan de Déu
Partnership between two leading hospitals in their respective areas (adults and paediatric population) to establish and consolidate joint units and programmes (BCNatal, immunotherapy platform, vascular radiology, kidney transplant, bone marrow transplantation, sports medicine and congenital heart disease centre, etc.) to facilitate the transition to adulthood of boys and girls with rare diseases and contribute to the training of the hospitals’ residents.
C17 Network
A hospital network created to improve the equity, accessibility and sustainability of specialized care in the Vallès Oriental, Osona, Ripollès and the Barcelonès (Barcelona Esquerra) regions. It is made up of 6 hospitals: Sant Celoni, Mollet, Granollers, Vic, Campdevànol and the Clínic Barcelona.
Blood and Tissue Bank
A public company of the Ministry of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya whose mission is to guarantee the supply and proper use of blood and tissues in Catalonia, serving as a leading centre in diagnostic immunology and the development of advanced therapies.
