If you have a fever of more than 38°C after travelling to a tropical area, you are advised to urgently seek medical assistance, so you can be diagnosed and receive suitable treatment.  

You are advised to:

Stay well hydrated.  

Medicines, pills

Take paracetamol to reduce the fever.   

Pill with warning sign

Not take aspirin and to avoid, as far as is possible, taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as ibuprofen).
