The Hospital Clínic Pharmacy Service is organized into the following areas:

Outpatient pharmacy

The Outpatient Pharmacy Area is responsible for dispensing medication to outpatients. It also provides the necessary information for patients about the drugs that are supplied

When can the medication be collected?

From Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (service from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. by appointment only)

How can I request or change a previous appointment?

  • In person: at the Summons desk (stairway 8b, basement).
  • By phone 93 227 93 52 (hours 9am-3pm and 4-5pm)
  • By sending an email to citacionsfarmacia@clinic.cat.

Can someone else come to collect the medication?

Yes, another person can be authorized, although they must present the following documentation:

  • The patient's health card or a copy
  • An authorization document completed and signed by the patient.

Primary Care Pharmacy

Primary care pharmacists provide various services related to medicines, always in coordination with the Hospital Clínic pharmacy service. For example:

  • Providing objective and verified information about medicines to primary care practitioners
  • Carrying out programs aimed at improving the use of medicines
  • Participation in the development of pharmacotherapeutic protocols
  • Monitoring the use of medicines
  • Giving a follow-up of the annual pharmacy budget at center level
  • Controling and monitoring of the CatSalut Pharmaceutical Quality Indicators (IQF).
