Yes, you just need monitoring and care to avoid reflux, but there is no contraindication for pregnancy.

It is a risk factor for oesophageal cancer, so it is recommended that the medical team perform periodic gastroscopy studies.  

Immediately after any of the above surgical treatments, you have to eat crushed foods and progressively add solid foods to your diet. 

This depends on the type of achalasia. In general terms, types I and II respond well to treatment with pneumatic dilation, Heller myotomy, and peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM). However, POEM is the indicated treatment for type III. 

Yes. In most cases, you need to protect the oesophagus from reflux, but it depends on the evolution of the patient.

In some cases, patients may have gastroesophageal reflux after treatment, especially with POEM, so taking stomach protectors is necessary. 

Yes. You can do any sport; however, you should avoid lifting heavy weights. 

Yes. It may happen, but it is not expected. If it occurs, it suggests the treatment was inadequate and a second operation may be required. 

Yes. Possibly due to the presence of reflux or, on some occasions, because the treatment of achalasia was inadequate and a second management therapy may need to be implemented.  

Yes. You should consult a nutritionist to assess your individual needs for dietary supplements, in case of low weight or decreased nutritional values.
