Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Service
The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department is part of the Institute of Medical and Surgical Specialties (ICEMEQ) at the Hospital Clínic Barcelona.
It deals with a wide range of procedures, from frequent and simple oral surgery to reconstructive microsurgery, including congenital facial malformations, salivary gland pathology and surgery requiring high technology due to its complexity in the maxillofacial area.
The Department offers high-quality care thanks to the continuous training of its professionals and the development of knowledge through research and technological and organizational innovation. It is characterized by its humane approach, with which it seeks to support its patients throughout their care process.
Around 6,000 patients are treated each year, of whom around 1,800 are first-time visitors, and more than 1,000 procedures are performed annually.
