Teaching and learning - Unit of Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis Unit

The Neuroimmunology-Multiple Sclerosis Unit leads different teaching initiatives aimed at students and professionals.

Professionals from the Unit contribute to the undergraduate medical degree programme, teaching the 4th year module, “Diseases of the Nervous System” at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Barcelona.

It also participates in postgraduate teaching within the training programme for resident doctors (MIR) specializing in Neurology at the Hospital Clínic Barcelona, as well as in training placements for resident doctors from other national and international centres.

The professionals in the Unit coordinate and participate as professors in the subject, “Neurological Autoimmune Diseases” in the Master’s Degree in Autoimmune Diseases course at the University of Barcelona and take part in the PhD Programme as thesis supervisors.

In addition, the Unit offers advanced training courses lasting from 6 months to 1 year for neurology.
