Traveller’s Diarrhoea prognosis

Traveller’s diarrhoea is generally a mild disease that resolves by itself (self-limited), although it can create certain limitations in activities while travelling in more than half of all cases.
In approximately 10% of cases, there may be persistent diarrhoea or complications.
The main complication of traveller’s diarrhoea is dehydration.
