Symptoms of the Fatty Liver Disease

Like most chronic liver diseases, fatty liver disease with a metabolic cause develops asymptomatically until the patient enters the cirrhosis phase and complications associated with the disease appear (e.g. accumulation of fluid in the abdomen, encephalopathy, haemorrhaging and liver cancer).

Being a silent disease, its diagnosis in the early stages is difficult, which is why it is important to increase the suspicion index in certain populations and in people with diabetes and obesity
