Investigación sobre Hipertensión Arterial en el Clínic

The Hypertension and Vascular Risk Unit at the Clínic carries out research focused on improving the diagnosis, risk stratification and treatment of patients with high blood pressure and associated cardiovascular risk factors. Its activities combine clinical research, the evaluation of new treatment strategies and the follow-up of patients at high vascular risk, helping to generate knowledge that can be applied in everyday clinical practice. 

The unit participates in clinical studies, multicentre projects and research programmes focused on high blood pressure, overall cardiovascular risk, target organ damage and the prevention of cardiovascular and kidney complications. This work is carried out in collaboration with other departments and research areas at the Clínic, promoting a multidisciplinary and translational approach.
