Cardiac ablation at the Clínic

Clinical care, teaching and research in the field of arrhythmias are carried out within the Cardiovascular Institute at the Hospital Clínic Barcelona, through the Cardiology Department and Arrhythmia Section.

This multidisciplinary team is made up of cardiologists specialising in cardiac electrophysiology, specialised nursing staff, healthcare technicians and researchers.

Members of the section are actively involved in national and international scientific societies dedicated to the study and treatment of arrhythmias, and contribute to scientific activities, clinical guidelines and collaborative research projects.

The integration of clinical care, research and teaching provides continuous incorporation of scientific and technological advances into patient treatments.
