Three allergology specialists funded by public agencies form part of the research structure for the development of the projects.
The scientific output in which some of the Department's doctors have participated as authors or co-authors over the last five years exceeds 125 scientific articles in scientific journals of major international impact, including guidelines and position papers.
The Allergy Department has a Clinical Trials Unit for both independent and external sponsor-dependent trials, which allows participation in the development of new drugs. This Unit has two nurses and various doctors who are the principal investigators and collaborators for each of the trials.
