Clinical Pharmacology Service

The Clinical Pharmacology Department at the Hospital Clínic forms part of the Medicines Management. The Clinical Pharmacology Department offers comprehensive support for clinical research through the Research Support Unit, advising on all phases of research projects, ensuring the efficient management of clinical trials and providing methodological, statistical and IT support. It is also responsible for coordinating the technical and administrative functions of the Drug Research Ethics Committee (CEIm) and supervising drug safety through the Clínic Pharmacovigilance Programme. In addition, it offers regulatory advice for innovative and complex drugs, such as advanced therapies developed at the hospital.
