International Health Service
The International Health Department is part of the Clinical Institute of Medicine and Dermatology. In 1984, Hospital Clínic de Barcelona was the first center in Spain to create a Tropical Medicine Unit in a third-level hospital. In 2006, this unit was transformed into the first and current International Health Department (ISD).
The International Health Department of the Hospital Clínic Barcelona is one of the Reference Centers for tropical diseases imported into Spain, with more than 30 years of experience in diagnosis and treatment.
