Education and knowledge transfer are fundamental at 4CB. The center is committed to excellence in teaching, targeting both future professionals and continuous training, with the ultimate goal of improving cancer patient care and fostering innovation in clinical practice.
- Training programs (undergraduate and postgraduate): 4CB offers a wide range of university-level courses in oncology, medicine, nursing, and health sciences, in collaboration with the University of Barcelona, including specialised undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
- Resident training: Each year, eight residents in oncology and hematology specialties receive training. Residents follow a personalized educational path with access to cutting-edge technology, specialised faculty, and opportunities for multidisciplinary teamwork and research projects.
- Clinical placements / Preceptorships: The center facilitates placements and exchanges for professionals from around the world, promoting preceptorships, practical training, and mentoring for new talents.
- Scientific sessions: 4CB regularly organises sessions, workshops, and seminars to share advances, discuss clinical cases, and promote up-to-date knowledge among clinical and research teams. More than 300 are held each year.
- Chairs: The center actively participates in seven university chairs related to cancer.
