ICEMEQ research also works along the following lines:
Metabolic bone disease. Metabolic bone diseases, especially osteoporosis, have important implications for health, as they are often at the root of many bone fractures. Despite their importance, they are a health problem that has not been studied a great deal.
Clinical and Experimental Respiratory Immunoallergy (CERI). Respiratory and food allergies, chronic rhinosinusitisand asthma are chronic inflammatory illnesses with a very high prevalence: they affect over a third of the general population, have a great impact on patients' sense of smell, reduce their quality of life, and involve an enormous cost in terms of social and healthcare resources.
