Research - Otorhinolaryngology Service
Research in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology is carried out through the August Pi i Sunyer Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBAPS), in the areas of Respiratory, Cardiovascular and Renal Biopathology and Bioengineering, Oncology and Hematology, and Biological Aggression and Response Mechanisms.
Translational Research
Members of the Department carry out basic translational research, with a special focus on rhinology, inflammatory disease of the upper airway, and head and neck oncology.
