The Pulmonology and Respiratory Allergy Department organizes various teaching and training activities aimed at sharing and expanding its knowledge of respiratory diseases.
Undergraduate
Members of the Department are professors at the University of Barcelona, Department of Medicine, and teach the subject “Respiratory Diseases" In the fourth year of the Medical Degree. Clinical professors and teaching assistants also participate in practical teaching.
Postgraduate and Master’s Degrees
Members of the Department coordinate the following Official Master’s Specializations at the University of Barcelona:
Specialization in Respiratory Diseases. Official Master’s Degree in Clinical Research
Specialization in Advanced Diagnostic Procedures in Respiratory Medicine, Official Master’s Degree in Advanced Medical Skills
And they collaborate in the following master’s degrees or master’s degree specializations:

- Diagnosis and Treatment of Lung Cancer

MIR Training
The Pulmonology Department also welcomes and trains MIR students in the following specialty:
The training of these resident doctors is structured around training pathways and teaching plans that incorporate the progressive assumption of healthcare responsibilities with appropriate supervision.
It also welcomes resident doctors from other centres on secondment to complete their training in units or programmes for which the Department is a reference point.
