AMD Teaching and Training at the Clínic

Reading time: 1 min

AMD is a disease of high interest to healthcare professionals, the public healthcare system and retinal pathology specialists, requiring ongoing efforts to update and continue training. Our team of retina specialists actively participates in major national and international conferences and courses in the field; held, for example, by the Spanish Society of Retina and Vitreous Disease (SERV), the European Society of Retina Specialists (EURETINA) and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO). There are also events, working groups and discussion meetings regarding treatment protocols, advances in new drugs and novel therapies. Initiatives aimed at raising awareness, providing guidance and disseminating information about the disease, its detection and prevention are also available for those affected as well as their families.
