Teaching and Training in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) at the Clínic

The team at Hospital Clínic is actively involved in the teaching and training of future healthcare professionals. At the undergraduate level, they deliver lectures on nervous system disorders to 4th-year students of the Medicine Degree at the University of Barcelona, Casanova campus.

At the postgraduate level, they participate in master's programmes such as Advanced Medical Skills with a specialisation in Parkinson's Disease and the Neuroscience Master’s, where they teach classes on epidemiology and clinical aspects of Parkinson's Disease.

The team is also involved in the Master in Translational Medicine, giving lectures on the introduction to neurology and translational medicine in Parkinson’s disease.

The Clínic also provides training to resident doctors in neurology, psychiatry and family medicine, as well as online courses, such as the Neurodegenerative Diseases course organised by CAMFiC-SCN.

Finally, the team contributes to reference manuals, including the chapter on Atypical Parkinsonism in the SEN's Neurology Resident's Manual, consolidating its role as a reference centre for specialised teaching and training.
