Reading time: 1 min

The Hospital Clínic Urogynaecology team was accredited by the European Urogynaecological Association (EUGA) to train specialist gynaecologists in urogynaecology from 2022.

For over 20 years, it has also hosted monthly external rotations for residents from national centres, starting in the third year of residency.

The Urogynaecology team regularly organises various teaching courses:

All team members are invited speakers at national and international courses and conferences, held by scientific associations such as the European Urogynaecological Association (EUGA); the International Urogynaecological Association (IUGA); the International Continence Society (ICS); the Pelvic Floor Section of the Spanish Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (SESP); and the Ibero-American Society of Neurourology and Urogynaecology (SINUG).

Three members of the Urogynaecology team are associate professors at the University of Barcelona and teach Urogynaecology classes to 6th year medical students.

One of the team members is a full member of the Royal Academy of Medicine of Catalonia (RAMC).
