Teaching and training in Alopecia at the Clínic

Teaching and training are a fundamental part of the Hospital Clínic’s activities, with the field of alopecia being no exception. 

The team actively participates in teaching its own postgraduate programmes, such as the Master’s Degree in Autoimmune Diseases, as well as in national and international teaching programmes, contributing to the education of new specialists in dermatology and trichology. 

In addition, the department regularly hosts residents and visiting physicians from other hospitals and institutions, both nationally and internationally, who come to train in the clinical and diagnostic management of inflammatory and autoimmune alopecias and to observe first-hand the techniques and protocols used in a tertiary-level hospital. 

This continuous educational activity reinforces the Clínic’s role as a referral centre, ensuring the dissemination of knowledge and the training of highly qualified professionals in the management of complex hair disorders.
